നോർത്ത് അമേരിക്കൻ ക്നാനായ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ സന്തോഷത്തിൽ ചിക്കാഗോ ക്നായും എളിമയോടെ പങ്ക്കൊള്ളട്ടെ. ഇന്ന് വൈകുന്നേരം 7.30 ന് ചിക്കാഗോ സെന്റ്‌ തോമസ്സ് രൂപതാ ആസ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്ന് ചാൻസ്സിലർ അച്ഛൻ സെബാസ്റ്റ്യൻ വേതാനം പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ച ഉത്തരവ്പ്രകാരം നോർത്ത് അമേരിക്കൻ ക്നാനായ റീജ്യൻ ടയറക്ടർ സ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്നും രൂപതാ വികാരി ജനറൽ സ്ഥാനത്ത് നിന്നും നിഷ്കാസ്സനം ചെയിതിരിക്കുന്നു. 2014 ഫെബ്രുവരി 7 ന് അധികാരത്തിൽ നിന്നും പുറത്താകുന്ന മുത്തോലത്തിന്റെ സ്ഥാനത്തേക്ക് KCCNA യുടെ ആദ്ധ്യാൽമീക ഉപദേഷ്ടാവായി കഴിഞ്ഞ മൂന്ന് വർഷമായി സേവനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ബഹുമാനപ്പെട്ട തോമസ്സ് മുളവനാൽ അച്ഛനെ അഭിവന്ന്യ മാർ ജേക്കബ് അങ്ങാടിയത്ത് പിതാവ് കോട്ടയം അതിരൂപതാ മെത്രാപ്പോലീത്ത അഭിവന്ന്യ മാർ മൂലക്കാട്ട് പിതാവിന്റെ ഉപദേശം അനുസ്സരിച്ച് നിയമിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ക്നാനായ സമുദായത്തിന്റെ അവകാശങ്ങൾക്ക് വേണ്ടിയുള്ള ചിക്കാഗോ ക്നായുടെ ചരിത്രപരമായ പോരാട്ടത്തിന്റെ വിജയമാണ് നാമിവിടെ കാണുന്നത്. ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് പടികൾ ചവിട്ടിക്കയറണ്ട ഒരു മഹാപ്രയാണത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ വെറുമൊരു പടിമാത്രമാണ് ഇത്. സമുദായ നന്മക്കായുള്ള പോരാട്ടത്തിൽ ചിക്കാഗോ ക്നായെ സഹായിച്ച നല്ലവരായ നിരവതി വൈദീകരെയും സഹോദരീ സഹോദരൻമാരേയും സ്നേഹത്തോടെ സ്മരിക്കുകയും നമ്മൾ ഒന്നായാൽ നന്നായിരിക്കുമെന്നും നമ്മൾ നന്നായിരുന്നാൽ ഒന്നായി മാറുമെന്നും ഓർമ്മിപ്പിക്കുന്നു.
കഴിഞ്ഞ ഏതാനും വർഷങ്ങളായി കലുഷിതമായി കലങ്ങി മറിഞ്ഞുകിടന്ന നോർത്ത് അമേരിക്കൻ ക്നാനായ ജനതയുടെ കൂടെ നിർഭയം കൂടെ നിൽക്കുകയും KCCNA യുടെ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഒർലാന്റോ കണ്‍വെൻഷനിൽ നിരവതി സഹവൈദീകരോടൊപ്പം പങ്കെടുത്ത് സമുദായത്തോട് കൂറ് പുലർത്തുകയും ചെയിത നല്ലൊരു സമുദായ സ്നേഹിയാണ് മുളവനാൽ അച്ഛൻ. അമേരിക്കൻ സൌഭാഗ്യങ്ങൾ തനിക്ക് ആവശ്യമില്ലായെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞ് നാട്ടിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചുപോകാൻ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന വേളയിലാണ് അപൂർവ്വമായ ഈ ഉത്തരവാതിത്വം ഇദ്ദേഹത്തെ തേടി വന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്. സഭയോട് എന്നും കൂറ് പുലർത്തി പിതാക്കന്മാരോട് വിശ്വസ്ഥനായി തന്നിൽ അർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഉത്തരവാതിത്വം നിറവേറ്റുമ്പോഴും തന്റെ മാതാപിതാക്കളിൽ നിന്ന് പകർന്ന് കിട്ടിയ ക്നാനായ പൈതൃകം മുറുകെ പിടിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ക്രിസ്തുവിന് സാക്ഷ്യം വഹിക്കുന്ന നല്ലവനായ മുളവനാൽ അച്ഛന് നോർത്ത് അമേരിക്കയിലെ മുഴുവൻ ക്നാനായ മക്കളുടെയും പിന്തുണയും ഭാവുകങ്ങളും ചിക്കാഗോ ക്നാ നേരുന്നു. ക്നാനായ മാതാപിതാക്കളിൽ ജനിച്ച് ക്നാനായ പാരമ്പര്യത്തിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്ന സകലവരെയും ഒരു കുടക്കീഴിൽ ഒരമ്മപെറ്റ മക്കളെപ്പോലെ ആക്കിതീർക്കാൻ തോമസ്സ് മുളവനാൽ അച്ഛന് തന്റെ നിഷ്കളങ്കമായ വ്യക്തിത്വത്തിൽ നിന്ന് സാധിക്കും.

vow that's much better, really a good news much awaited one!! don't know how much he can withstand the pressure from Kottayam, but NO Doubt he is more refined,simple,sincere and humble than Mutholam. He be come back as bishop of knanaya region in 8 months .. So that dr mulavanal also need to listen him and obey him as a bishop of knnaya region. W8 and see !! Guys. !!!

ReplyDeleteRemoving Muthu from the post of VG is surely most welcome for the knanaya community.But that won't solve the critical problem.
ReplyDeleteAs long as our knanaya bishop doesn't take an open, public stand that the exogamous knas cannot be members in a knanaya parish in any part of the world, the critical problem will remain unresolved.
Removing Mutholam is only a trick jointly played by the Kottayam and Chicago bishops to please the knas in the U.S. and to resume collection of donations. The failure in collecting money for Caritas Medical College has given them a good lesson. They know that the knas will fall in this trap and donate them money.
Though it is good that Mutholam is removed from the position of the VG, it does not help the Community to solve the danger of mixing it up with the non-kna by admitting the KANAs or their families in the American knanaya parishes.
ReplyDeleteIt will be solved only if the KNA BISHOP himself publicly announce that allowing the KANAs in the kna parishes anywhere in the world is detrimental to the Community and that it is against kna laws and traditions. Unless he does that he will remain to be the major and only real threat to the existence of the knanaya community.
A knanaya bishop alone is capable of destroying the community.

ReplyDeleteOf course the transfer of Fr. Mutholam is good for the knanaya community. But this is not a solution to the real problem. The problem remains in the fact that Mar Moolakkat doesn't raise a small finger against giving membership to the KANAs and their families in the knanaya parishes, though he has the primary responsibility of safeguarding the interests of the Community. Helping the tradition of endogamy by preserving the tradition of lifting the Community and knanaya parish membership of the exogamous is the prime interest of knanaya.

Mutholam appears to be another trick played jointly by the knanaya and SM bishops to reduce the protest of the knas so that the contributions and donations from the knas can be enhanced. The failure to collect money for the proposed Caritas Medical college should be the eye opener to make this transfer which cannot yield any fruit as they think!
എല്ലാ ഞായറാഴ്ചയും സ്ഥിരമായി കേട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്ന ഒരു ഗാനം ഉണ്ട്. കലാഭവന്‍ആബേലച്ചന്റെ “ഈശ്വരനെ തേടി ഞാന്‍ നടന്നു” എന്ന ഗാനം. അച്ചന്റെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രശസ്തമായ ഗാനവും അതുതന്നെ. എല്ലാ ക്രിസ്തീയ ദേവാലയങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്നും കുറെ നാളത്തേക്ക് ഈ ഗാനം സ്ഥിരമായി കേള്ക്കാമായിരുന്നു.
ReplyDeleteആ ഗാനം ഒന്നു ശരിക്ക് വിശകലനം ചെയ്തപ്പോള്‍ ഒരു കാര്യം മനസ്സിലായി. അവിടെയും ഇവിടെയും ഒന്നും ഈശ്വരനെ അന്വേഷിച്ചിട്ട് കാര്യമില്ല, ഈശ്വരന്‍ അവനവന്റെ ഉള്ളില്‍ തന്നെയാണ്. ഇവിടുത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ വിരോധാഭാസം ഗാനരൂപത്തിലുള്ള ഈ ഉപദേശങ്ങള്‍ അന്ന് വന്നു കൊണ്ടിരുന്നത് ദേവാലയങ്ങളില്‍ നിന്ന് തന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു എന്നുള്ളതാണ്.
വളരെ ലളിതമായ ഭാഷയില്‍ ഉദാഹരണസഹിതം കുറെ ഉപദേശങ്ങള്‍ സാധാരണക്കാരനുവേണ്ടി യേശു നല്കി. അന്ന് യേശുവിന്റെ ശ്രോതാക്കള്‍ ആരും തന്നെ ഉയര്ന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം ഉള്ളവരോ പണ്ഡിതരോ ആയിരുന്നില്ല. കാലാന്തരത്തില്‍ കുറെ പേര്‍ അതിനെ ഗവേഷണങ്ങള്‍ നടത്തി നടത്തി പരമാവധി വളച്ചൊടിച്ചു ഒരു പരുവത്തില്‍ ആക്കിതന്നു. ഇല്ലാത്ത അര്‍ഥങ്ങള്‍ അതിനു നല്കി. വരുമാനം കൂട്ടാനും സമ്പത്ത് കുന്നുകൂട്ടാനും ഉള്ള ഒരു ഉപകരണം ആക്കി അതിനെ മാറ്റി. ചുരുക്കത്തില്‍ ലക്ഷ്യം മാറിയതോട് കൂടി മാര്‍ഗവും മാറി.
വത്തിക്കാന്റെ കീഴിലുള്ള റോമന്‍ കാത്തോലിക് പള്ളികള്‍ ധാരാളമുള്ള അമേരിക്കയില്‍ നമ്മുടെ ക്നാനായ കാർ കുടുതിൽ പോകുന്ന സിറോ മലബാര് പള്ളികൾ എന്ന വജ ക്നാനായ പള്ളികൾ (സിറോമലബാര്‍ പള്ളികള്‍ ) വാങ്ങിച്ച് കൂട്ടുന്നതുകൊണ്ടുള്ള ഗുണഭോക്താക്കള്‍ അച്ചന്മാരും സഭാധികാരികളുമാണ്. സിറോമലബാര്‍ മലയാളം കുര്‍ബാനക്കും, അവര്ക്ക് മനസ്സിലാകുന്ന അമേരിക്കന്‍ ലാറ്റിന്‍ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് കുര്‍ബാനയ്ക്കും സ്വര്‍ഗത്തില്‍ ഒരേ വിലയാണ്.
നീതിക്കുവേണ്ടി നിലകൊണ്ടവരെ പള്ളിവിരോധികളാക്കി മുദ്രകുത്തി അവഗണിച്ചു. സാധാരണക്കാരുടേയും അവരുടെ മക്കളുടെയും കഷ്ട്ടപ്പാടിനെ മനസ്സിലാക്കിയിട്ടും അതിനെ നിഷ്‌ക്കരുണം അവഗണിച്ച്, രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരെപോലെ കഷ്ട്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ജനങ്ങളുടെ ചിലവില്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ നിലനില്‍പ്പ് സുദൃഢമാക്കി!
സമൂഹത്തില്‍ മാറ്റം വരുത്തണമോ വേണ്ടയോ എന്നു തീരുമാനിക്കേണ്ടത് ജനങ്ങളാണ് എന്ന് കേജറിവാള്‍ പറഞ്ഞതുപോലെ നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തില്‍ മാറ്റം വരുത്തി സമാധാനം വേണമോ വേണ്ടയോ എന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കേണ്ടത് നമ്മള്‍ തന്നെയാണ്. അവിടെ സത്യത്തിനെ സ്ഥാനമുള്ളു, ഒളിച്ചു കളികള്‍ക്ക് സ്ഥാനമില്ല. നാം വിതച്ചതിന്റെ ഫലമേ പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാവൂ. രാഷ്ട്രീയത്തിലായാലും സഭയിലായാലും അനീതിയെ വളമിട്ടു പരിപോഷിപ്പിച്ചാല്‍ അനീതി മാത്രമേ ലഭിക്കുകയുള്ളൂ.
പാളിച്ചകള്‍ മനസ്സിലായിട്ടും അത് അംഗീകരിക്കാനുള്ള എളിമ കാണിക്കാതെ സത്യത്തെ വീണ്ടും വളച്ചൊടിക്കുന്നു. ആജ്ഞ നിറവേറ്റിയിരുന്ന വിജിയെ മാറ്റി മറ്റൊരു വിജിയെ പ്രതിഷ്ട്ടിച്ചാല്‍ തീരുന്ന പ്രശനമല്ല ഇത് എന്നത് സമ്മതിക്കാതെ എത്രനാള്‍ മുന്‍പോട്ടു പോകുവാന്‍ സാധിക്കും? രോഗലക്ഷണത്തിനെ ചികല്‍സിച്ചിട്ടു കാര്യമില്ല, രോഗത്തിനാണ് ചികല്‍സ വേണ്ടത്.
