The Kana people supported this mission from the beginning. This mission is the dedication of people who are not eligible to be Catholics - their members include many people who have married more than once. Most of the money given by them and some viddies.

ReplyDeleteI was in church today. Today shooting was going on in church by Shalom TV. At the end of mass I asked Fr. Mutholam that why there was not prayers for Mar Moolakattu and Mar Pandarasseriyil today during The "KARESOSA". And why there was not a the usual prayer for the Knanaya region Retreat. Fr. Mutholam had no answer to that and he kept laughing and told me that he will answer me later. I quostioned the the "Kapiyar" Mr. Kannachampaparambil who read the "KARESOSA" today in the church and he told me that because there is shooting going on in the church, he could read only one that is supposed to be said.

As long as Fr.Muthalam did not have an answer to my quiry and he was pale when I asked him this quostion, I feel Fr. Mutholam must have instructed his men, Mr Kannachamparambil, who is contesing in KCS election, by obeying his master by abiding the order.
Now I request the people to decide whether St.Mary's chuch is a Knanaya church or only a Syro Malabar church.
Can Fr. Abraham Mutholathu and Mr Kapiyar Kannachamparambil refute what I said.
Angadi is not the 'Muthalaali' of the car. He only arranged and managed its purchase. From the word 'knanaya' in the name of the car, it is quite clear for whom it was purchased. Money for its purchase was collected from the knas. That is why the car is registered in their name and not in the name of Angadi!.

Now that the knas understood that Angadi has committed breach of trust by allowing those who oppose the knas, they boldly taken a unanimous decision not to allow entry of KANAs.

I already posted earlier that New Yorkers are dam fools. Fools-Fools- Fools. Even the KCCNA leadership's are another type of fools. They all act and pretend that they are intelligent and wise and doing something for the community. This dirty game was played by the Former President of IKCC who doesn't have no clue or idea what he is doing.
Go online and read the procedural rules of Chicago Diocese. CPA, MBA, Doctorate holders can't understand simple English.

Guys in NY wake up. This is the time to take the protest to next level. We all know that Angadiath is goign to say that this church is open to all and Mutholam and Moolakkadan is going to dance for Angadiath's song. Try to co ordinate a protest, throw some shoes or eggs at angadiath and Moolakkadan if they make any statements like that. Just bitching on blogs or passing some "prameyam" in church is not going to change anything. If there are any tru Kna in NY and they really want to stand for the community, you should plan some protests and actions (like above)and take it up to next level.

ReplyDelete100 years ago most of our people were farmers and they had a very simple life. They used to walk several miles to attend a mass and prefer to have some long ones. Now things changed and we needs to grow with the new situation. It is not the length of the rituals that makes us holy, but it is with the good work, love and help the poor make us the real children of God. We are teaching more things to our children without any practice and they leave us once they got the freedom. We needs to accept the good things from this country and needs to get involved with youth and their feed back for our bright future.

ReplyDeleteThe Church if doing the right and truthfully it can be powerful. But when it allow to control by some fools or adulterate is can be harmful too. If we are willing to adopt the best working principles with both culture it will progress. If our leaders are not serious and not committed we cannot expect much progress. No youth or educated person is going to spend more time in church unless it proves some positive results. More than the blogs church community also spreads local gossips and unnecessary comparisons.
DeleteWhat are we doing, why care about all this politics. The past is the past, what we must do is forget,forgive and move on. Why are there so many scandals in our politics and church. We are Knanayakar the rest of the Sabhas make fun of us. My son told me today that all his friends who are not Knanayas call our church "the party church". Is that the title we want??? I say forget Mutholam, forget Moolakattu, forget Pandaserril. They are obviously not serving the Knanaya community. Moolakattu comes to the U.S a couple times each year says some BS, saying Yes we Can, Yes we Can! and then heads back to his throne in Kottayam. What we need to do is join together and stop all this nonsense. If it were up to me I'd say get us a new VG that cares for his community and who is not a puppet of the Syro Malabar Church. The next step would be to send a letter to Rome for a Knanaya Diocese in the U.S and make that new VG our bishop. I tell you right now that will solve all of our problems. Do not ask Moolakattu about this because he will not help. Open your eyes Knanayakar their is no form of hierarchy out there that cares for us. We must take actions into our own hands and save our community. Do not bend to the Syro Malabar Church, have some backbone. How long have we been behind the Syro Malabar Church and how much have they given us? One diocese and two bishops who don't give a damn about the community. I strongly believe Moolakadan and Pandarasseril are great bishops but they just do not have enough back bone to stand up to the Syro Malabar Church for fear of there own jobs and titles. The time is now, do not sit here and rabble amongst our selves on the blogs and forums. Take action, remember your identity, and have some pride. We are Knanayakar.

ReplyDeleteMost of our local churches were built by the faithful immigrants built long ago with great expectations. The only way we can survive next generation try to be some genuine and true role models.
ReplyDeleteBuilding another church with no spirituality or getting another VG or Bishop is not going solve our problems. Our church do have its rules and just implement and don't add more personal rules. If I am well settled or not working I may like to spend more time in church but most of us are very busy and come to church to meet the spiritual needs. Our church is getting more expensive and less spiritual only business or political people can benefits from these social gatherings to get their next victim partner or client.

DeleteI am kna , its very pathetic to see that strict knanaya endogamy is diminishing slowly slowly, there will be new papal rescript to merge all knanayas with syro malabar church, Arch bishor mathew moolekkadan has already shown the indication by saying " when a kna marries a non kna naturally and spiritually they become one body and soul. So all these bebates are going to be futile.What the knas can do the most is continue to practice the customs and culture except the controversial endogamy practice.
