മരിച്ചവര്‍ക്കുവേണ്ടി പാട്ടുകുര്‍ബാനയും പിന്നെ കടുംകാപ്പിയില്‍ ഹെന്നസ്സിയും
നമ്മുടെ എല്ലാമെല്ലാമായ മുത്തുവിന്റെ പള്ളിയില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ ഞായറാഴ്ച നടന്ന പ്രധാന തിരുന്നാളിനിടയില്‍ അതിപ്രധാനമായ ഒരു കാര്യം വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു. അത് മറ്റൊന്നുമല്ല നാളെ തിങ്കളാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരം മരിച്ചുപോയവര്‍ക്ക്‌ വേണ്ടിയുള്ള കുര്‍ബാനയാണ് അതിനാല്‍ നാളെ കുര്‍ബാനയ്ക്ക് വരുമ്പോള്‍ എല്ലാവരും അവനവന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവരുടെ ഫോട്ടോയും അള്‍ത്താരയില്‍ വയ്ക്കാന്‍ കൊണ്ടുവരണം. ഇതു കേട്ടുപോയ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ തിങ്കളാഴ്ച വൈകുന്നേരം തങ്ങളുടെ മരിച്ചുപോയ കാരണവന്മാരുടെയും മറ്റു പ്രിയപ്പെട്ടവരുടെയും ഫോട്ടോയും കെട്ടിപിടിച്ച്‌ പള്ളിയില്‍ വന്നപ്പോള്‍ കാണുന്നത് നമ്മുടെ കൊച്ചച്ചന്‍ ആഗോഷമായ പാട്ടുകുര്‍ബാന ചൊല്ലുന്നതാണ്. വിശ്വാസികള്‍ തങ്ങള്‍ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ഫോട്ടോയില്‍ കെട്ടിപ്പിടിച്ച് മാതാവിനെ നോക്കി ചോതിച്ചു. എന്റെ പോന്നു മാതാവേ ഈ മരിച്ചുപോയ അപ്പനുവേണ്ടി എന്നുമുതലാണ് ആഗോഷമായ പാട്ടുകുര്‍ബാന തുടങ്ങിയത്.

പതിവുപോലെ എന്തും വരട്ടെയെന്ന് കരുതി മുഴുവന്‍ കുര്‍ബാനയും കൂടി കൊണ്ടുവന്ന ഫോട്ടോ ആരും കാണാതെ വിട്ടുപിടിച്ചു വീട്ടില്‍ പോയേക്കാം എന്ന് വിചാരിച്ചു. അപ്പോള്‍ ഒരു കാര്യം ഓര്‍ത്തു ഇനി മുത്തു ഇന്നലെ പെരുന്നാള്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞുപോയപ്പോള്‍ പള്ളിയുടെയും പരിസ്സരത്തെയും ഹെന്നസ്സിയുടെ മണമടിച്ചു പൂസ്സായി കിടന്നുരങ്ങുകയായിരിക്കും.
ഞായറാഴ്ച പ്രധാന തിരുന്നാള്‍ വേളയില്‍ കുര്‍ബാന കൊടുക്കാന്‍ പുറകില്‍ എത്തിയവര്‍ കണ്ട കാഴ്ച പള്ളിയുടെ പുറകില്‍ കുര്‍ബാന സ്വീകരിച്ചു വരുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് കൊടുക്കാന്‍ ഓരോ ഗ്ലാസ്സിലായി വീര്യം ഏറിയ മദ്യം വിളമ്പി നില്‍ക്കുന്ന ചില പ്രസുധേന്തിമാരെയും മറ്റു സന്നദ്ധ സേവകരെയുമാണ്. പെരുന്നാളിന് സാധാരണയായി കിട്ടുന്ന അരിവറത്തതിനും അപ്പത്തിനും പകരമായി നമ്മുടെ മുത്തു കത്തനാരുടെ പരിഷ്കാരമേ !!!! മുത്തുവിന്റെ ആത്മീയതയും കള്ളുകുടിയെപറ്റിയുള്ള വീര്യം പറച്ചിലും അതിഭയങ്കരം തന്നെ.
എന്തായാലും മരിച്ചവരുടെ പെരുന്നാളിന്റെ ദിവസ്സമാണല്ലോ ഇനി ആഗോഷമായ ഒപ്പീസ്സുകൂടി കൂടിയിട്ട് അപ്പനുവേണ്ടി പ്രാര്‍ത്തിചേക്കാം എന്ന് ഓര്‍ത്തപ്പോഴാണ് അച്ഛന്റെ അറിയിപ്പ് കേക്ക് മുറിചെക്കാം. അയ്യോ, ഇതെന്തു കളിയാ ഒപ്പീസ്സിനു പകരം കേക്കോ ? വീണ്ടും അറിയിപ്പ് സ്ഥലത്തെ പ്രധാന പ്രാഞ്ചിയും പ്രസ്സുധേന്തിയുമായ നമ്മുടെ സക്കെവൂസ്സങ്കിളിന്റെ ഭാര്യയുടെ ഹാപ്പി ബര്‍ത്ത് ഡേ ആണിന്ന്. പിതാവിനും പുത്രനും വയ്ക്കാന്‍ ഉയര്‍ത്തി പോയ കൈ അറിയാതെ മൂക്കത്ത് വച്ചുപോയി . നമ്മുടെ പ്രാഞ്ചിമാരുടെ ഒരു സ്വാധീനമേ !!!

കര്‍ത്താവിലല്ല മറിച്ച് നമ്മുടെ പ്രാഞ്ചിമാരുടെ പോക്കറ്റിലാണ് അച്ചന്മാരുടെ വിശ്വാസം എന്നോര്‍ത്തപ്പോള്‍ അറിയാതെ ഒരു സ്വര്‍ഗസ്ഥനായ പിതാവും നന്മനിറഞ്ഞ മറിയവും ചൊല്ലി പള്ളിയില്‍ നിന്നും പുറത്തേക്കിറങ്ങാന്‍ തുടങ്ങിയപ്പോള്‍ നമ്മുടെ കോര്ടിനെട്ടെര്‍ വന്ന് ചെവിയില്‍ മന്ത്രിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു പുറകിലേക്ക് ചെല്ല് സാധനം റെഡി. എന്റെ കര്‍ത്താവേ മരിച്ചവര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടി പ്രാര്‍ഥിക്കാന്‍ വന്ന ഞാന്‍ കേക്കും ഹെന്നസ്സിയും അടിച്ചാല്‍ മരിച്ചുപോയ എന്റെ കാരണവന്മാര്‍ എന്ത് വിചാരിക്കും എന്ന് ഓര്‍ത്തു തീര്‍ന്നില്ല, ദാണ്ടേ കട്ടന്‍കാപ്പി രൂപത്തില്‍ ഹെന്നസ്സി എത്തിക്കഴിഞ്ഞു.
ഞാന്‍ അറിയാതെ പ്രാര്‍ഥിച്ചു. എന്റെ കര്‍ത്താവേ ഈ പ്രാഞ്ചിമാരുടെ ഒന്നും ഭാര്യമാരുടെ പിറന്നാള് GOOD FRIDAY -യോ ക്രിസ്മസ് ദിനത്തിലോ ആക്കരുതേ. അങ്ങിനെ വല്ലതും ആയാല്‍ നമ്മുടെ മുത്തു കത്തനാര്‍ GOOD FRIDAY മാറ്റി അടുത്ത ദിവസ്സതെക്ക് ആക്കിയിട്ട് കേക്ക് മുറിച്ചുകളയും.ഈ ധുര്‍ഗതിയും കൂടി കാണാന്‍ ഇടവരുത്തരുതേ എന്റെ പൊന്നു തമ്പുരാനെ. വിശ്വാസികളെ നിങ്ങളുടെ പണം മാത്രം മതി ഇവര്‍ക്ക്. പണത്തിന്റെ മുകളില്‍ ഇവര്‍ കമിഴ്ന്ന് വീണ് കിടക്കുകയാണ്.
ഇവിടെ വിശ്വാസ്സ തട്ടിപ്പിലൂടെ നമ്മുടെ പോക്കറ്റുകള്‍ നമ്മളറിയാതെ കൊള്ളയടിക്കപ്പെടുകയാണ്. ഇതു ലോകത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ വന്‍കിട തട്ടിപ്പാണ്. നമ്മളില്‍ പലരും അന്ധമായ വിശ്വാസ്സമായ ലഹരിയിലാണ്. ഇതില്‍ നിന്ന് നമ്മുടെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങളെ ഓര്‍ത്ത് മോചിതരായെ പറ്റൂ. നമ്മുടെ രണ്ടു പള്ളികളിലുമായി നാളിതുവരെ നടത്തിയ ലെക്ഷകണക്കിന് സാമ്പത്തീക കെടുകാര്യസ്ഥതയുടെ ചരിത്രം ഇനിയെങ്കിലും പരിശോധിക്കുന്നത് വളരെ ഉചിതമായിരിക്കും. പ്രാഞ്ചികള്‍ക്കും മുത്തുവിനും നഷ്ട്ടപ്പെടാന്‍ ഒന്നും ഇല്ല. ഇവരുടെ കഷ്ടപാടിന്റെയോ വിയര്‍പ്പിന്റെയോ ഫലമൊന്നും നമ്മുടെ പള്ളികളില്‍ തന്നട്ടില്ല. തട്ടിപ്പിലൂടെയും കരിന്ച്ചന്തയിലൂടെയും അന്ന്യായമായി സമ്പാതിച്ചതിന്റെ വീതം തങ്ങളുടെ മുഖം നന്നാക്കി ഞെളിഞ്ഞു നടക്കാന്‍ മുത്തുവിനെ കൂട്ടുപിടിച്ചുള്ള കള്ളകളികള്‍ ആണ് നാം കാണുന്നത്.
ഇനിയൊരു ക്രിസ്തു നമ്മുടെയിടയില്‍ വന്ന് ജെരുസ്സലേം ദേവാലയത്തില്‍ നിന്ന് കള്ളന്മാരെയും കരിന്ച്ജന്തക്കാരെയും പിടിച്ചുപറിക്കാരെയും അസ്സന്മാര്‍ഗികളെയും അടിച്ചിറക്കിയതുപോലെ ഇറക്കാനായി വരില്ല. എന്നാല്‍ തന്റെ ആലയത്തില്‍ വരുന്നവരെ എങ്ങിനെ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യണമെന്ന് ഈശോ നമുക്ക് വ്യക്തമായി കാണിച്ചുതരുന്നു.

Unfortunately our spirituality and morality is going down. In Chicago most of us send our children to religious education for last 15 years and we have more than 10 perunal (no thirunal) and average person spends over 20 hours with church in a month and spends over thousand in a year but still no growth in religion or morality. Most of them had no confession over 5 years and still receive communion. What is the gain of all these efforts leads us to heaven or good family. All these works are worthless unless these leads to a good life.

I agree with you. Everybody act like "kadalasu puli". But nobody has the courage to question. Why ?? Because all of us want some position. In other words we are selfish !!
DeletePriests & pranchies will change if we stand on our feet and question bad practices. We have example for that. In the last few Maywood Pothuyogams, people were questioning and so Priest & his choclate guys could not do their hidden agenda of buying a posh mansion.
Come on... we Malayalies have a tradition of fight against corrupted system. Thats why we brought EMS govt in 1957. Don't we have that blood any more ??? You are not anybodys slave. Speak out what you think is correct.
that is exactly what I mean. During the rectory buying contoversy, people opened their mouth. See we were able to prevent the hidden agendas. So if we question the bad practises right there at the moment, many bad things can be prevented.

DeleteYou identified and brought out the Pranchi culture and people of course accepted that it is a fact. People are aware of the cultural degradation because of this. They are also aware of the difficulty they are facing because everything is Pranchi oriented and a common man is bench marked against pranchi’s affluence & influence.

I think, Chicago Kna, KCS & KCCNA should initiate conducting some seminars/discussions promoting the fact that simplicity is always royal; encourage people to appreciate modesty and not to welcome show off. If we conduct meetings & discussions like that, there will be a positive cultural change. This will straighten church, association & priests who are currently in fantasy.
Most of the average working and hard working people have only limited income but those who make money illegally do have plenty and like to show their power over the poor. We need some action not seminars. Most of us supported Church hoping that will do have some great impact on our society but now few think church belongs to them only and use as their party office.
ReplyDeleteMost of us come to church to pray and worship and none of us are going to protest openly against any injustice. The church is run by the Priest- Bishop and executives and it is their full responsibility to make it work riht and we support financially and other voluntary works. But some come only for socialization and some business and that could have a great distraction for the true faithful.
ReplyDeleteI have a commet for this, without permission from the vicar or vg another priest cannot do anything in the parish. so please don't blame "Kochachan". Let him stay peaceful in his parish. Muthu and his pranji's should stop this. Don't destroy our community. Again Muthu proved that our church is for "Pranjis". Don't think that your church is full is people. It will be only "pranjis" if we go in this direction
