Mistake #7: We should not have gone for that meeting without getting a response to the earlier request made by KCCNA in June, 2002. This delegation further weakened our stand and showed lack of vision and plan for the community.

Global
Convention
The decision by VG and some of the spiritual directors to support global convention was seen as a move to discredit KCCNA and Knanaya associations. In spite of strong opposition from all the Knanaya associations and KCCNA to the way in which this event was organized, VG and some spiritual directors attempted to politicize it. Events related to the global convention kick offs in Chicago and New York are examples. Once again the VG and some spiritual directors did not respect the sentiments of the majority of the people, instead decided to stand with the few who at that time was openly attacking KCCNA and member associations.

7 ജനം ജനത്തിനെതിരായും രാജ്യം രാജ്യത്തിനെതിരായും ഉണര്‍ന്നെഴുന്നേല്‍ക്കും. ക്‌ഷാമങ്ങളും ഭൂകമ്പങ്ങളും പലസ്‌ഥലങ്ങളിലും ഉണ്ടാകും.

I am glad we do have plenty of churches in Kerala and here and most of us do have an opportunity for a spiritual gathering. I strongly believe that Endogamy stays with our family and each individual do have the full freedom to select the partner. Every day we mix with various people in school, job, market but I do not think they are going to take my ethnicity tomorrow. All needs to do is guard our spirituality, faith, culture and family values and without these basic values there is not future.
ReplyDeleteMost of us are ok with our present situation and only concern abut their spirituality. On the other hand some leaders and very concern about it and they say even willing to shed their blood to defend endogamy. They even very upset about one annual retreat. Most of these leaders do have their own prayer groups, and do participate all kinds of retreats and go outings, and camping with their mix friends. I do not understand why they are upset with others and their faith practice.
ReplyDeleteWhen people go camping with mix friends, they do not call it knanaya camping. so when you call someting knanaya camping, it should be only for knanaya people. Similarly the retreat named Knanaya region family retreat 2013. can anyone say for sure that it will be only knanaya participants. or will it be just using the word knanaya to get more people together and get the money.

Only way you can get good support or disappear these kinds of blogs if association and church do the right things and tell the full truth to the public. When they need money or vote they beg to the public without any shame. They all preach one thing and in their personal life they are a coward and cheap. People lost faith in them and they have no value in our society. When you get their news bullitons put in thrash and get the direct and true news from the true news medias.
