ഒരു ക്നാനായ ക്രിസ്ത്യാനിയെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് സഭയും സമുദായവും അവനു ഒരു പോലെ പ്രാധാന്യം ഉള്ളതാണ്.ആല്മീയ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ പൂര്‍ത്തീകരണം സഭയിലൂടെ അവന്‍ നിര്‍വഹിക്കുന്നു.മാമോദീസ മുതല്‍ അന്ത്യകൂദാശ വരെ ഉള്ള കൌദാശിക പൂര്‍ത്തീകരണം സഭയിലൂടെ നമ്മള്‍ നിര്‍വഹിക്കുന്നു.അതുപോലെ സമുദായം എന്നത് ക്നാനായക്കാരനെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് ഒരു ജീവിത ചര്യ ആണ്.അത് അവന്റെ കുടുംബ ജീവിതത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗം ആണ്.ജീവിതം ആണ് .അവന്റെ ശ്വസോച്ച്വസതിലും രോമ കൂപങ്ങളിലും,രക്തത്തിലും, വിയര്‍പ്പിലും, മജ്ജയിലും, മാംസത്തിലും ഉള്ളതാണ് ആ വികാരം. ആ അനിര്‍വചനീയം ആയ വികാരം ആണ് 17 നൂറ്റാണ്ട് നമ്മളെ നമ്മള്‍ ആക്കി നില നിര്‍ത്തിയത്.പൂര്‍വ പിതാക്കള്‍ കാണിച്ചു തന്ന ആ വഴിയില്‍ നിന്നും അണുവിട മാറുവാന്‍ എനിക്കോ നിങ്ങള്‍ക്കോ സാധിക്കുമോ?ആ കൂട്ടായ്മയുടെ, അനിര്‍വചനീയം ആയ രക്ത ബന്ധത്തിനെ റിസള്‍ട്ട് ആണ് ഇന്നും നമ്മള്‍; നമ്മളായി നില നില്‍ക്കുന്നത്.
ഈ കൂട്ടായ്മ, ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു എങ്കില്‍ നമ്മുടെ പൂര്‍വ പിതാക്കള്‍ ചെന്നിടത്ത് അവിടുത്തെ സംസ്കാരവും പാരമ്പര്യവും ആയി യോജിച്ചു പോയിരുന്നു എങ്കില്‍, സൌകര്യ പൂര്‍വം തല്‍കാല സ്ഥാന മാന സാമ്പത്തിക ലാഭത്തിനു വേണ്ടി ഇന്ന് ചിലരൊക്കെ ചെയുന്ന പോലെ ചെയ്തായിരുന്നു എങ്കില്‍ ഈ സമുദായം നിലനില്‍ക്കുമായിരുന്നോ?

ReplyDeleteI think somebody in India, if it is possible knanaya catholic congress should start a signature collection from our people from each parishes and send to Kottayam Bishop house. Doing the signature collection is not going to be counted as something against the bishop. We the people don't want any change in our existing rule for the knanaya people. The decision from Chicago, or the speech by Mar Mathew Moolakattu can make a big difference in our people and kottayam diocese. We can do the same signature collection fom America also and send to Kottayam. If we have to give up our churches in America we should do that. Bottom line is we need to protect our endogomy and our knanaya tradition. Insted of writing too many things we need some action like signature collection from our people and show how we feel.
ReplyDeletewe appreciate knanaya catholica congress president Prof.Joy Muprappallil and his team for taking such a bold stand by sending a concern letter to our bishop.We request all the knanaya brothers and sisters to make a joint petition to kottayam roopatha.it might be good idea to do an opinion poll also.It is unfortunate to see that some of the local association leadership is also getting into the hands of this anti knanaya people.
ReplyDeleteWhy some people want to change the Knanaya equation ? New definition is good for better bargaining for some one in the Clergy to get red belt. Even he make it, it will be black belt for Knanaya Community. Why all the people using this 1700 years of tradition ? What about before then ?

ReplyDeleteIt is ridiculous that our excellency mr. Moolakkatt has betrayed our community. He had taken this decision years back but hidden it from all of us. That clearly tells that he knew what he was doing is wrong. I think he should be ashamed of himself and don't deserve any more respect. Mr.mulolakkatt should move out of his position immediately. KCCNA and Knanaya congress should work together and should plan the protest activities. We donot want a bishop who donot stand for us and betray us. We should plan to raise black flags where ever mr.moolakkatt shows up. In USA , we should stop even giving even a penny for these greedy people and Angadiat.

Mutholam and they say, "nothing has changed, Knanaya Missions / Parishes always had the exact membership criteria that Mar Moolakkatt stated in Los Angels". You were working so hard as the EEC chair, trying to obtain this Ecclesiastical Enhancement for us, when in fact according to Msgr. Mutholam we always had this going back to 2003? When Msgr. Mutholam said this back in 2003, that was not enough and you worked on a petition to Rome etc. but when Mar. Moolakkatt said the exact criteria in 2012 you are satisfied and recommends "it is time to cooperate"; I hope your recommendation was not influenced by the last name of Mar. Moolakkatt.

നിവേദനത്തിന്റെ ഉള്ളടക്കത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഓരോരുത്തര്‍ക്കും അവരുടെതായ വിലയിരുത്തലുകള്‍ ഉണ്ടാവട്ടെ. അതിനെക്കുറിച്ചല്ല ഇവിടെ പറയാന്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്.
ഈ നിവേദനം ഇനിയും മൂലക്കാട്ട് തിരുമേനിയുടെ കൈകളില്‍ എത്തിയിട്ടില്ല എന്നാണു അറിയാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞത്. അരമനയില്‍ ഏല്പിച്ച നിവേദനം ലീക്ക്‌ ചെയ്യുകയും, അമേരിക്ക മുഴുവന്‍ പടരുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. വത്തിക്കാനില്‍ രസ്യരേഖകള്‍ ചോരുന്നു എന്നത് ഈയിടയിലാണ് കേട്ടത്. അത് കോട്ടയം അരമനയിലും സംഭവിക്കുന്നത് ഉത്കണ്ഠാജനകമാണ്.
ശത്രുക്കളാല്‍ ചുറ്റപെട്ടാണ് മാക്കീല്‍ പിതാവ് നീണ്ട പതിനഞ്ചു വര്ഷം ചങ്ങനാശ്ശേരി അരമനയില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞുകൂടിയത്. അതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് കോട്ടയം രൂപത സ്ഥാപിതമായത്. ഇന്ന് കോട്ടയത്തു പോലും ശത്രു പാളയമോ?
ഇന്നത്തെ പ്രധിസന്ധി മൊത്തതിന്റെയും സൂത്രധാരകന്‍ മുത്തു ആണ്. അങ്ങേര്‍ “എന്നെ കണ്ടാല്‍ കിണ്ണം കട്ടെന്നു തോന്നുമോ?” എന്ന മട്ടില്‍ ചിക്കാഗോയിലിരുന്നു സുഖിക്കുന്നു. മുള്‍ക്കിരീടമാകട്ടെ, മുത്തുവിന്റെ കെണിയില്‍ വീണ പാവം മൂലക്കാട്ട് പിതാവിന്റെ തലയിലും! ഈ കത്തു ലീക്ക്‌ ചെയ്തതിന്റെ പിന്നില്‍ മുത്തുവിന്റെ കറുത്ത കൈകള്‍ അല്ലെന്നു ആര് കണ്ടു?
കര്‍ത്താവേ, ദുഷ്ടനെ പനപോലെ വളര്‍ത്തിയാല്‍ പോരെ, മലപോലെ വളര്‍ത്തണമോ?

Without ENDOGAMY, there is no KNANAYA community. So, those who break it, cannot be a partof it. This has been the
knanaya tradition. (Though a KANA will remain as a knanite for ever, It is not enough that his parents alone followed endogamy for a KANA
to be part of the Community! He too had to follow. )
Hence, the KANAs cannot be accommodated in a knanaya parish, which is a knanaya community.
In the history of Knanaya, including the JACOBITES, there is no such precedence. So the clarification that it is the 'RIGHT' of the KANAs, who broke
endogamy, to be a part of the endogamous knanaya community, is quite a new idea never heard of in the community. So, it is a clear DEVIATIONfrom the tradition.
So, it should be elaborately discussed in knanaya parishes around the globe, before it is implemented. As in the sole matters of the Church, this
decision should not be unilateral or hasty. Transparency also to be maintained. Moreover, consent and proper authorization for
the exclusion of the other members of the KANA family also to be invariably obtained from the competent authority who
has jurisdiction over those parishes, before a KANA is accommodated, if at all it is possible.

to indicate a Knanite married to a non-knanite. It is seen stated that, if Mar Angadiath has given letter allowing the
KANA family' to be members in a knanaya parish, Kottayam Diocese will not accepted it. In this connection, it has to be taken into
consideration what value the Chicago Bishop will give for the acceptance or non-acceptance by Kottayam Diocese, if it has
jurisdiction of the kananites only in kerala and around?!
If the knanaya Associations should work for only the growth of the Church and if is an integral part of
the Church, how can they adopt a different criteria for membership other than what is followed in the parish? How can they reject
membership to the KANAs?!

It is ridiculous that our excellency mr. Moolakkatt has betrayed our community. He had taken this decision years back but hidden it from all of us. That clearly tells that he knew what he was doing is wrong. I think he should be ashamed of himself and don't deserve any more respect. Mr.mulolakkatt should move out of his position immediately. KCCNA and Knanaya congress should work together and should plan the protest activities. We do not want a bishop who donot stand for us and betray us. We should plan to raise black flags where ever mr.moolakkatt shows up. In USA , we should stop even giving even a penny for these greedy people and Angadiat.
ReplyDeleteThank God that we have some strong leaderships in KCCNA during this testing times. Had the………………………………like mr.Nella or mr.Vacha were at those positions , they would have surrendered everything and will be licking the mission ass.
