Piravom College - S. B. College Changanacherry and S.H. College, Thevara, Eranakulam Bachelor of Teaching (BT) - Govt. Taining College, Kozhikode Professional Summary: - Started as an High School Teacher at O.L.L.H.S., Uzhavoor in 1955. - Promoted as Headmaster in 1974 (Payyavoor SH, Kaduthuruthy St. Michaels, Karimkunnam St. Augustine and Uzhavoor O.L.L. High Schools) - Retired from service in 1989 - Uzhavoor Political Activities: - Elected as member and Vice President of Uzhavoor Panchayat in 1964 - Elected as President of Uzhavoor Service Co-operative Bank in 1979 - Building Construction Committee Secretary of St. Stephen’s College, Uzhavoor - Governing Body Member of St. Stephen’s College Uzhavoor and BCM College, Kottayam. - Member, Kottayam DDC - Member Khadi Board, Kerala - President, A.I.C.U Kerala Region - Member of Legislative Assembly (M.L.A) of Kerala state (representing Ettumanoor Constituency), 1982 – 1987 - Achievements as MLA o Came up with the idea and instrumental in getting approval and starting of the Mahatma Gandhi (M.G.) University within the Ettumanoor constituency. This was the most remarkable achievement of his tenure. This literally sparked the economic growth of that area. o Helped for the expansion of Medical College, Kottayam. o Initiated KSRTC Bus Stand Ettumanoor o Founder of Food Kraft Institute at Kumaranalloor, Kottayam o Cosmetology School at Panambalam, Kottayam o Puthenthodu Bridge at Aymanam, o Velloparambu Bridge and water Supply at Kumaranalloor o Private Bus Stand at Ettumannoor o Govt. Comercial Instistute at Ettumanoor o Model Pre-Primary School at Kumaranalloor o Pattarmadom Water supply at Ettumanoor - Served as the Syndicate Member of the M.G. His life is a legacy. Another shining star is disappear in the sky left with so much for his Knanaya Community and others. We pray all Mighty, please accept your beloved sons departed soul in to your right hand.
