ഇന്നലെ സെന്‍റ് മേരീസ്സ് പള്ളിയിലെ പാരീഷ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ മീറ്റിങ്ങില്‍ നടന്ന മുത്തോലത്തിന്റെ ചവിട്ട് നാടകം ചിക്കാഗോ മാത്രമല്ല ലോകം മുഴുവനും ആസ്വദിക്കുന്ന തിരക്കിലാണ് ഇന്ന് ശനിയാഴ്ച രാത്രി 11.45 വരെ തന്‍റെയും തന്‍റെ ബോസ്സ് മൂലക്കാടന്റെയും ഹിഡന്‍ അജണ്ട നടപ്പിലാക്കി മൂലക്കാട്ട് ഫോര്‍മുല ക്നാനായ ജനതയുടെ മേല്‍ അടിച്ചേല്‍പ്പിക്കാന്‍ ശ്രമിച്ചിട്ട് ഞായറാഴ്ച ഉച്ച കഴിഞ്ഞപ്പോള്‍ കാലിന്‍റെ അടിയിലെ മണ്ണ് മുഴുവന്‍ ഒളിച്ചു പോകുമെന്ന് ആയപ്പോള്‍ ദാണ്ടേ കിടക്കുന്നു - ധിം തരികിടതോം. മുതോലം വീണ്ടും സര്‍ക്കസ്സ് അഭ്യാസിയെപ്പോലെ അതി വിദഗ്ദമായി മലക്കം മറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു. പാരീഷ് കൌണ്‍സില്‍ അംഗങ്ങളുടെ മുന്‍പില്‍ അനുസ്സരണ ഉള്ള നായക്കുട്ടിയെപ്പോലെ കൂനിക്കൂടി ഇരുന്ന്‍ പ്രമേയം പാസ്സാക്കുന്നു. കള്ളന് കഞ്ഞിവെക്കുന്നവനാണ് എന്ന് പാവം കെ.കെ.കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങള്‍ അറിയുന്നുണ്ടോ. ഇച്ചിരി താണ് കൊടുത്ത് ഒത്തിരി നേടാന്‍ എന്തൊരു വിരുതനാണ് മുത്തു. ഒരു നിമിഷം കൊണ്ട് എല്ലാ എതിര്‍പ്പുകളും ഇല്ലാതാക്കാന്‍ മുത്ത്‌ എടുത്ത അടവുനയം. എന്നെ ദ്രോഹിക്കുന്നവരെ കൊണ്ട് ഞാന്‍ എനിക്ക് സിന്താബാത് വിളിപ്പിക്കും എന്ന മുത്തുവിന്റെ തിരുവചനം പൂര്‍ത്തീകരിക്കാനുള്ള ശ്രമമാണ് ഇന്നലെ നടന്നത്.
മൂന്നാഴ്ച്ച യായി നിലനിക്കുന്ന പ്രതി ഷേദം സ്ത്രീകളും ഏറ്റെടുക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം പ്രതിഷേദം പുതിയ തലങ്ങളിലേക്ക് വ്യാപിക്കുകയും ചെയുന്നു. മെഴുകുതിരി പ്രദക്ഷിണം നടത്തുവാന്‍ ക്നാനായ ജനം തയ്യാര്‍ !! ചിക്കാഗോ മെയ്‌വുഡ് പള്ളിയില്‍ ഇന്നു കുര്‍ബാനക്ക് ശേഷം ഉണ്ടായ ചര്‍ച്ചകളില്‍ ഈ ആശയത്തിനു വന്‍ സ്വികരണമാണ് കിട്ടിയത്. പ്രമുഖ വ്യക്തികള്‍ ഈ ആശയം ഉചിതമായ കമ്മിറ്റികളില്‍ ചര്‍ച്ചചെയ്തു മുന്‍പോട്ടു പോകുവാന്‍ ധാരണയായി. KCS കമ്മിറ്റിയിലും മെയ്‌വുഡ് 5 അംഗ action കമ്മിറ്റികളിലും ഈ വിഷയം ചര്‍ച്ചക്ക് വന്നു. വഷളത്തരം ഇല്ലാതെ തികച്ചും ക്രിസ്തീയവും പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനയില്‍ ഊന്നിയതുമായ പ്രതിക്ഷേധമാകയാല്‌ സ്ത്രീ ജനങ്ങള്‍ക്കും ഈ ആശയത്തോട് വന്‍ ഉത്സാഹമാണ്. എല്ലാവരും സഹകരിക്കുക.
മൂന്നു കാര്യങ്ങളില്‍ ഊന്നിയുള്ള പ്രതിക്ഷേദ പ്രകടനങ്ങളാണ് വിഭാവനം ചെയുന്നത്. തങ്ങളുടെ നിര്‍ദേശങ്ങള്‍ ക്ഷണിച്ചുകൊള്ളുന്നു .

പള്ളിയില്‍ പൈസ ഇടില്ല എന്ന് പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുക. ഇപ്പോള്‍ ചെറിയ കുറവ്
വന്നാലും പള്ളി കുഴപ്പത്തില്‍ വരും. പള്ളി പൂട്ടുമെന്നാകുമ്പോള്‍ VG യുടെ
വിപരീത നിലപാട് മാറും.
2. നോണ്‍ക്നാനായ ഐഡിയയെ അംഗീകരിക്കുന്നില്ല എന്ന് അങ്ങാടിയത്തിനോട് തുറന്നുപറയുക. കുര്‍ബാന മുടക്കുമെന്ന ഭീ ക്ഷണി ഉണ്ടാകാന്‍ സാധ്യത യുണ്ട്. അങ്ങിനെ വന്നാല്‍ നമ്മുടെ വിശ്വാസികള്‍ അര മണിക്കൂര്‍ നേരത്തെ ചെന്ന് അരമനപള്ളിയും പാര്ക്കിംഗ് ലോട്ടും നിറക്കുക.

Rememeber the words of Martin Luther King " We shall over come" Together let us fuction as one community in unity both church and assocation executives and let no one break our unity. We do not discriminate any one who marry outside the community but we want to preserve and protect our community's identity and it is only possible if we choose life partner within the community..Simple as that. There are so many handsomeme young man and women in our community here and worldwide...Give them a chance! if you choose someone outside itis fine but leave us alone to practice our age old tradition. ReplyDeleteIt is nice to know that St.Marys parish council approved "Kottayam formula" last sunday. But there are some very serious questions all the church committees people must consider and think deeply.
ReplyDelete1) Why did Fr.Mutholam who is also the VG introduce such a decision on the parish council? Can each kna church parish council now decide there own membership criteria? There is something very wrong and fishy in this move.
2) What if Detroit parish committee decides "Moolakaattu formula" next sunday and Atlanata parish council decide "Angadiath formula"? We will end up with three different membership criterais among our kna churches in america. Do you understand what that will create?
Such a senario will create total confusion and chaose amongst the parishoners of kna churches. We will end up fighting each other. We will then spend next 2-3 valuable years with meetings, premeyams, debates, arguments etc and in the meantime MMM will slip in something that they want into one of their 'favorable' churches and implement it all over.
There is something very deeper and fishier in what Fr.Mutholam did last Sunday at St.Marys. Be very CAUTIONS guys.
Question to all kna priests -
1) Can each kna churches now decide membership criterias on your own within the parish cuncils? Is Bishop Angadiath okay with it?
2) If we have 2 or 3 different membership criteras among our churches what plans do you have now to resolve it? Majority wins?
There is something hidden in this especially since an attempt was made by Fr.Mutholam exactly one month after Bishop Angadiath released the 'Angadiath formula'.
just do it. stop giving money to the church. let muthu go out. when new achan comes we could give money to the church. Teach pranchy a lesson too. Just stop giving money to the church for few months. keep the money in a pinky bank at home and when everting over give to the church. no problem.

ReplyDeleteനമുക്ക് എല്ലാവക്കും ഈ 3 നയങ്ങഒളൊട് യോജിച്ച് പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കാം . K C S ന്റെ നേതൃത്തില്‍ രണ്ട് പള്ളികളെയും ഒരു കുടകീഴീല്‌ ആക്കി ഇത് നടപ്പിലാകാം. ഒരിക്കല്‍ മുത്തുവിനെ എതിരെ ഈ കളി നമ്മള്‍ നടത്തി അങ്ങാടിയെ വിരട്ടി മുത്തുവിനെ തോല്പിച്ചത് ഓര്‍മ്മയുണ്ടോ ?

ReplyDeletedear blogger - want you to publish this comment to community i am one of the ec member of a local associations first time to kccna and was in 2 meeting with KCCNA leadership in last 2 wks. inspite of severe push from various associations to go after muthu kccna ec are adamant that they r not going after muthu, they said it is not a personal matter. clear focus on ethnic identity of the comunity and our parishes. not even a single word came from them against Muthu except pointing out contraditions from muthu as a VG of the diocese based on facts. i am surprised i thught otherwise going into meetings. the current ec of kccna seem to work together well and tightly unified in the message. can't believe dr. shiens can run a meeting with 50 people on telephone with utmost discipline and complete in less than an hour with every one have a chance to voice opinion. he is efficient, tough, very clear in thoughts and have strong conviction on our isssue, yet come across down to earth. no wonder some people hate him. wish he will be there to continue to help our crusade on behalf of the community even after march. inspite of all the struggle kccna faced last year - this ec deserve lot of credit for staying together as one to safeguard kccna as a voice of couumunity and protector of kna traditions. lets all join behind kccna in this effort - no more a association or mission issue - its a COMMUNITY ISSUE. priests also should join hands with community on this. we ONLY need knananya formula no other formulas needed.
ReplyDeleteIt may be a good idea to extend the term of the EC currently in power to continue for one more term, until this crisis has a unified strategical master plan towards resolving it. Current leadership has shown the best tact in KCCNA history. One more term may not resolve the issue, but they can put a strategy in place. (Not a vote of no-confidence to any aspiring leaders!)
